well I compared them to AA and was pretty shocked. I mean yeah only 39 eur but the loghts of the blue alpine for ex. are just covered with something like tesa film

But in the end they make models others don´t have so we should be thankfull

@Faultier: They do have there mistakes, but luckely they're becoming better!
The logos on the Alpine Le Mans are really nice, but made out of many parts. The Alpine letters and other photo-ets stuff in it are seperate parts and indeed covered with almost nothing! My Le Mans also misses the 'E', but didn't seen that before I looked at a macro picture of the logo. They do shipped a spare logo, so I can swap it once, but it's a fact they still hold there faults.
To me the worst parts are the use of decals (the model world needs to ban this stuff or only place it underneath the upper clear layer) and the glue that's been used on some points, especially with the photo-ets parts. You always need to be carefull on those parts ofcourse, but it was much worser on earlier Otto models. Maybe they solved the problem really within the newest range (that contains now the Alpine A106 and Renault 5 Maxi, and next to the better developed windows, you can also spot them because of the larger arrow on the inner box).



But indeed yes guys, I love the Otto models! I really like the fact they make such nice and different models! I can only applaud this

I would say in german "Hassliebe" or hatelove for Ottos.

Yeah they have their mistakes and some are just don´t acceptable but where in the modelworld you find the Alpine Le Mans or the Renault 11 Zender.

But i have to admit that I will think twice before buying a new otto. They just don´t fullfill my needs

It's not an Autoart indeed, but as the number of mistakes on the models is coming down, I keep faith in Otto and I love the choice of models so far!
Although it's not completely true, I wanted them to make the MG SV-R in 1:18 and the Laguna GT Estate in the correct blue metallic collor
(But they said they aren't interested in them...)

Well I aksed AA if they want to make the Lotus Omega /Carlton but no interesst as well

Also a big name, they need to stop not carring

yeah they should start to carry about every single wish and every single customer.
But for me AA still rocks scale 18
