Volkswagen Kaefer 1200 Ovali (type 1) / AUTOart

Today, I received the cute old Beetle from AUTOart. They've done a really great job.
Only, the best Beetle engine comes from Schuco - but the rest perfect.

And I think, the pink painting is an interesting alternate choice to black, silver or white.

I agree with you on the engine. This lacks detail and is looking too much as plastic (which it is ofcourse).
For the rest of the model, it is as sober as the real car. The lack of detail isnt really a downside, because the fine craftsmanship and the rest of the artwork (I think we can call it like this in pink ) are making it a really fine and (most important) real looking model.
